The Arri D series of lights are HMIs, just like the M series we also offer. The D series is different, however, in that it comes in a more traditional and familiar Arri fresnel format. These lights use the same ballasts and are similar wattages to the M series. However, because of the difference in lenses and front faces, these fixtures will have a slightly lower effective light level.
